Course evaluation (+)

The EEE (Evaluation des Enseignements par les Etudiants - Student Evaluation of Teaching) approach, based on a questionnaire, is part of an institutional drive to enhance the value of teaching.

Every semester, a week before classes end, students are invited to assess the contribution of each of the courses they have taken. An anonymous questionnaire, based on a Google form, is e-mailed to all students and remains open for two weeks.

For each course, the questionnaire contains ten questions based on the following four criteria: objective and content, teaching methods, assessment of knowledge and workload, and overall assessment.

At the start of the assessment period, department heads encourage learners to complete the assessment questionnaire.

They are asked to set aside around ten minutes for each group, to explain to students how to access the evaluation and to allow students to complete the questionnaire on their computers or cell phones. The department head leaves the room after explaining to the students how to access the evaluation.
