MBA in partnership with UQAM

Presentation

The MBA program offered by Law &Business School in partnership with UQAM aims to raise the level of entrepreneurial skills of students trained in fields other than management sciences and business, so that they can progress to key management positions in major international organizations and institutions.

To this end, the program provides students with an advanced body of knowledge covering all the fundamental areas of management science: strategic management, marketing, finance, accounting and information technology.

Organization

The MBA program lasts 18 months and is organized around an original formula, with :
- Weekend courses, 2 weekends per month
- A modular structure and practical projects integrating several courses
- An interactive teaching approach with practical work, case studies, role-playing and simulations
- Several optional activities are offered to meet specific needs or interests, in relation to innovation and technology start-ups, business law and management, the hospitality sector and entrepreneurial dynamics.

Career prospects

The MBA degree is a benchmark on the international market, offering graduates excellent opportunities for employment and career advancement, especially when combined with prior basic training in a field other than administration, such as science, engineering, technology, legal sciences and law, hospitality and hospitality services, or when accompanied by an entrepreneurial project.

Admission requirements

- Prerequisites: French, English and quantitative methods.
- To be eligible, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent obtained with a cumulative average of at least 12 out of 20 or the equivalent in a discipline other than business and management sciences.
In exceptional circumstances, the Admissions and Evaluation Sub-Committee may recommend admission of a candidate whose cumulative average is between 10 and 12 out of 20 (or equivalent).
In addition, candidates must have obtained their last university degree within the last five years, be without work experience or have less than four years' work experience since obtaining their last university degree.
- Admission in fall and winter terms.
