Master in Business and Digital Law

Presentation of the sector

This course enables students to master the legal and tax aspects of business life, particularly those related to digital technology. The course is spread over four semesters: two semesters dealing with business law in general, the third semester focusing on legal aspects relating to the digital world (digital law and personal data protection, information and data security, etc.), and a fourth semester for an internship in a company or business law firm, and the preparation of a dissertation.

This Master's program is aimed at graduates with a basic or applied law degree.

Target skills

The Master's degree in Business Law enables students to acquire skills in all aspects of business life, including contractual, tax, employment, corporate and digital law.

At the end of the program, graduates should be able to :
- Analyze and provide solutions to complex legal problems.
- Provide legal advice and defense services in law firms, auditing, consulting and appraisal firms.
- Draft statements of claim and defense, as well as pleadings, particularly in relation to the digital world,
- Draft contracts, particularly in relation to the digital world,
- Master the legal rules specific to the digital world (eg. intellectual property in relation to the Internet, databases or software; electronic contracts; the fight against cybercrime; civil, criminal and administrative liability of web hosts, access providers and content publishers),
- Anticipate and assess new risks linked to digitalization, particularly in terms of liability and data protection,
- Measure current and future ethical issues raised by digital development,
- Ensure compliance with the law on IT security within the company, and interface with the French National Data Protection Authority (INPDP).

Access conditions

First year

- Eligibility :

- Hold a Tunisian Bachelor's degree in Law (or equivalent),
or
- Hold a foreign Bachelor's degree accepted as equivalent in Tunisia,

- Admission: competitive examination and interview

Second year

- Eligibility :

-A first year successfully completed in the same specialty,

- Admission: competitive examination and interview
